Indications

Indicated for cattle for the treatment and prevention of puerperal hypocalcemia (milk fever, parturient paresis, or downer cow syndrome). It is also indicated for calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and glucose deficiencies in postpartum and/or high-producing dairy cows. Used in the treatment of ketosis, intoxication, and poisoning.

Acts as a restorative supplement in cases of nutritional deficiencies and lack of energy.

Route of administration

Slow intravenous injection (at a rate lower than 40 mL per minute).

Dose

Cattle: 500 mL per animal.

In cases of hypocalcemia, repeat administration 6 to 12 hours after the first application, according to the recommendations of the attending veterinarian.
