Indications
A hematinic restorative indicated for cattle, sheep, goats, South American camelids, horses, pigs, dogs, and cats for the treatment and control of hematopoietic disorders and general anemias. It is also used as a general restorative for metabolic disorders caused by poor nutrition, exhaustion, loss of appetite, convalescence, stress, and intoxication. Ideal for animals subjected to intense physical work or exertion.
It acts as a growth stimulant and supports the production of milk, meat, wool, and fiber.
Used as an adjunct in the treatment of anaplasmosis, piroplasmosis, and trypanosomiasis.
Route of administration
Slow intravenous, subcutaneous, or deep intramuscular injection.
Dose
Cattle and horses: 10–20 mL.
Calves and foals: 5–10 mL.
Sheep, South American camelids, and goats: 5 mL.
Piglets: 1 mL.
Growing pigs, fattening pigs, and breeding pigs: 1 mL per 10 kg body weight.
Dogs and cats: 1 mL per 5 kg body weight.
Administer every 24 hours until the animal recovers, or according to the recommendations of the attending veterinarian.
