SOCIAL
At Agripac, we transform our social responsibility into actions that create opportunities and change lives. Through programs focused on education, agricultural development, and inclusion, we drive the growth of sustainable and resilient communities.
From training new talent and strengthening farmers, to empowering women and protecting children, our initiatives reflect a longstanding commitment to social well-being and the country’s progress.
LA ESCUELITA
Since 1994, Agripac has developed La Escuelita, an intensive training program that combines theoretical and practical instruction across our 9 business lines. It serves as the starting point for new talent to gain in-depth knowledge of our sector, our products, and the best commercial and technical practices.
Over the years, we have trained dozens of graduating classes with diverse backgrounds, including agronomists, veterinarians, biologists, and animal scientists, fostering comprehensive and collaborative learning.
This program reaffirms our commitment to developing professionals who drive the growth of the agro-industrial sector.

PLAN MAÍZ
Since 1997, we have been committed to the corn-growing sector through Plan Maíz, a program that supports small and medium farmers with technical assistance, access to financing, and the inputs needed for cultivation, such as seeds, fertilizers, and specialized products. Our goal is to boost local corn production, a key raw material for agribusiness and human nutrition.
What began as an initiative to promote agricultural development has grown into a reliable and sustainable long-term program.

EMPOWERED WOMEN
We recognize and support the fundamental role of women in the agro-industry, participating in every stage of the value chain—from land preparation and planting to commercialization. As signatories of the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), we work to create development opportunities and reduce the barriers they face in accessing resources and services.
In 2023, we launched the “Proud and Empowered” project, currently in its pilot phase. It was developed in collaboration with the Semillas del Progreso Association, made up of 32 women from the Ventanas canton in the province of Los Ríos. We provide technical training, planting kits, and sustainable inputs, highlighting their role in agriculture and their potential as agents of change.
To design more effective actions, we conducted 18 focus groups with women from the agricultural sector of the Coast, Highlands, and Amazon regions, together with IDB Invest and Inclusys, gaining first-hand understanding of their needs and aspirations.
JUCONI:
TOGETHER WITH CHILDREN
For more than 24 years, we have collaborated with the Junto con los Niños Foundation (JUCONI) in Guayaquil, which works to eradicate child labor and prevent risks such as drug use, domestic violence, and teenage pregnancy. Since 2023, we have sponsored several vulnerable children, providing them monthly with food, footwear, uniforms, school supplies, and psychological support.
Every year, we sponsor the foundation’s Christmas celebration, a joyful event where around 300 children and teenagers participate in games, contests, and shared meals, receiving backpacks, clothing, and toys. Our commitment is to offer them positive experiences that strengthen their development and well-being.
