It is a multisite protective fungicide formulated as a wettable powder (WP). It acts on the pathogen by interfering with various chemical reactions during the fungus’s respiration process, making it virtually impossible for the fungus to develop resistance to the product. Its mode of action is related to the degradation of Captan into thiophosgene, which is highly reactive with thiol groups and other functional groups; these poison the fungus by inhibiting vital enzymes.

How to use
Apply the recommended dose when the Agricultural Engineer recommends it, depending on the intensity of the infestation and/or when the first disease symptoms appear. Preferably apply in temperatures lower than 25oC. Before using the product, closely read the label. Fill half of its capacity with water, then add the amount needed according to the dose established before and shake in order to obtain a homogeneous product, finally fill the remainder of the tank with water. Constantly shake the mixture contained in the tank, uniformly covering the plants during the application. The equipment used for application must be washed carefully after every application, at least three times. The product has to be managed in an integrated management plan.
