The Shrimp Producers Chamber of El Oro hosted ExpoAcuícola El Oro 2025, a key event for the technical, commercial, and sustainable development of the shrimp farming industry.
During the event, sector achievements were highlighted—most notably, that in the first quarter of 2025, production surpassed 720 million pounds, positioning shrimp as the country’s top non-oil export.
The event was held at the Hotel Oro Verde in Machala and featured technical conferences, business roundtables, and an exhibition of innovative technologies for aquaculture farming.
Agripac participated with a booth at the trade fair, presenting its portfolio of solutions aimed at improving efficiency, biosecurity, and profitability in the shrimp farming industry.
