In the cities of Quito and Guayaquil, a prominent event on animal health, focusing on the One Health approach, was held by Agripac in collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim. Dr. Alberto Montoya, a renowned expert in Veterinary Medicine from Spain, opened the event with a lecture on Dirofilariasis, an expanding zoonosis that affects dogs, cats, and humans. In the second part of the event, Dr. Alicia Rubio from Peru presented the latest trends in feline parasitosis, emphasizing the often underestimated impact on feline health and the relevance of One Health strategies. This event was key in strengthening the knowledge of our veterinary clients from the Consumer Division.
