In February, Agripac obtained the ASC Feed certification, a milestone that reinforces its commitment to the highest international standards in the responsible production of aquaculture feed. This recognition validates its operational processes and sustainable management under criteria of traceability, responsible sourcing, and continuous improvement.
In line with its responsible sourcing policy, regarding plant-based raw materials the company promotes a supply chain free from deforestation, land conversion, and child labor, and is implementing an Action Plan to ensure that its ingredients come from deforestation- and conversion-free crops. For marine raw materials, Agripac prioritizes certified inputs or those sourced from recognized Fishery Improvement Projects (FIPs). It is currently positioned at Level 1 out of 4 in marine sustainability under the ASC Feed standard, and 70% of its materials come from fishery by-products, strengthening a circular economy model.
With this achievement, Agripac reaffirms its leadership in sustainability and its commitment to a responsible, competitive value chain aligned with the demands of international markets.
